Human multitasking is the best performance by an individual of appearing to handle more than one task at the same time. The term is derived from computer multitasking. An example of multitasking is taking phone calls while typing an email. Some believe that multitasking can result in time wasted due to human context switching and apparently causing more errors due to insufficient attention. -

TIME magazine covers what they call "Generation M" - M for multitasking - made up of overstimulated teenagers who constantly split their time and attention between instant messaging, Facebook, Myspace, their iPods, cell phone and blogs.
Psychologists say this kind of multitasking is easier for young adults than children or older people because of development in a certain area of the brain, and is also a lot less efficient than focusing on one task at a time. -

So how many of you can study/work while listening to music?

Kalau i, dulu masa zaman study, i kene dengar lagu sambil study. kalau tak i tidur. Lepas tu macam susah nak ingat. Sekarang zaman kerja, tak kisah la dengar lagu atau pun tak. Ada orang kata i seorang yang multitasking. Tapi i sendiri tak sure i ni jenis multitasking ke tak. Huhuhu. Anda pula bagaimana?
